ELLIS Institute Finland, AI Finland and Foundation PS will host a landmark AI event on 17 November 2025, when the first AI Summit and the official opening of the ELLIS Institute Finland will take place at Logomo in Turku.
The event will bring together world-class AI researchers, top business leaders and influential policymakers from across the globe. The stage discussions will focus on AI’s role in strengthening Europe’s growth, competitiveness and security, as well as on the current state and future of AI research and technology in Europe.

The ELLIS Institute opening seminar will feature contributions by Florence d’Alche (Institut Polytechnique de Paris), Tommi Jaakkola (CSAIL MIT), Kyunhyun Cho (New York University), Giada Pistilli (Hugging Face), Serge Belongie (President of ELLIS Society, University of Copenhagen), Mark Girolami (University of Cambridge & Alan Turing Institute), Samuel Kaski (Founding Director, ELLIS Institute Finland) and many newly appointed ELLIS Institute Finland PIs and PS Fellows.
