Qutwo provides enterprises with a software platform, Qutwo OS, for comprehensive tooling and algorithms to operationalize classical, hybrid, and full quantum AI systems. In conjunction with a world-class quantum and AI science team, the infrastructure allows customers to focus on innovation on top of foundational technology, accelerating their path to both classical AI excellence and eventual quantum-enhanced AI capabilities.
Operating since late September 2025, Qutwo has already secured multiple enterprise clients, delivering tangible value across financial services, energy, logistics, and e-commerce sectors. The company currently employs around 30 quantum and AI scientists and engineers – most holding PhDs in relevant fields – and plans to scale to 100 scientists and engineers by the end of 2026.
To build Qutwo OS and deliver next-generation AI for a quantum world, a team of veterans from two of Europe’s most successful quantum and AI startups have joined forces. Today, the team includes Dr. Kaj-Mikael Björk (ex-UC Berkeley, CMU, Silo AI co-founder & Head of Research), Dr. Kuan Yen Tan (ex-UNSW, Microsoft, IQM co-founder & CTO), Topias Uotila (ex-Goodmill, Thriv, UZS CEO), Dr. Juha Muhonen (QC Professor at JYU), Dr. Adrian Flanagan (ex-EPFL, Nokia, Huawei), Dr. Anton Akusok (ex-Aalto, Silo AI, Zalando), Dr. Leo Joffe (ex-UCL, Silo AI, Neural DSP), Anni Rahiala (ex-Skenariolabs, Startup Sauna CEO), Elin Dölker (ex-Slush President), as well as tens of leading quantum and AI scientists. The board, chaired by Peter Sarlin, is strengthened by Pekka Lundmark (ex-Konecranes, Fortum, Nokia CEO) and Antti Vasara (ex-VTT CEO, EC’s Quantum Strategy Board).
